Mutterings of a Wandering Alchemist

Stutterings

Is it possible to stutter something profound?

Stumbling upon greatness

But really? Is anything coincidental?

These thoughts, festering and brewing in your mind

Waiting and waiting and waiting

Building pressure

Ready to pounce

Possessing your tongue

Spewing forth and erupting

Like some kind of volcanic word vomit

  1. A profound statement spoken by a person who stutters is as real if not moreso than a chronic fluent speaker. “We”, who do not talk like all others are unique in the way that “we” have lived with this and lived through it and made it and “we” are ok. Some don’t think so but it’s them who are uneducated.
The festering in our minds is frustrating, yes. How could it not be? Try stuttering on every other word you say and feel with your chest, throat, tongue and jaws the tightening and choking sensation. Feel it well with your eyes closed and your mind open to nothing but this sensation. After you have had enough go back to your usual easy way of speaking. And be thankful for those simple things in life that we take for advantage like soft gently smooth swaying speech. For you are lucky. “We”, are saddened but “we” have made it.
